After making fleece hats from various designs this design for neck gaiters is easy, versatile, warm, and can be worn as a hat.. If you can sew two straight seams then you can do this! (CLICK HERE IF YOU WOULD RATHER DO A HAT)
Step 1: Start with a rectangular piece of fleece 24 inches wide (the stretchy way) by 16 inches.
Step 2: Fold the long edges together and sew. Now you have a doubled fleece that is still 24 inches wide. If the fabric has a good side then it should be inside at this point.
Step 3: turn rightside out and move the seam to the middle.
Step 4: Fold the other way and sew together.
Step 5: Turn so the last seam is inside and you are finished. You may have to adjust if it is totally the wrong size. I believe these dimensions will be good for most adults, but am not promising.
