Complete the fifth grade, or be 11 years old, or have earned the Arrow
of Light Award, but be younger than 18 years old.
Submit a completed Boy Scout application, Class 2 Medical Form, and
the required membership fees.
Demonstrate tying the square knot.
With your parent or guardian, complete the exercise in the pamphlet
"How to protect Your Children from Child Abuse and Drug Abuse."
Participate in a Scoutmaster Conference where as part of the discussion,
you should repeat from memory the Scout Oath, Law, Slogan, Motto, Pledge
of Allegiance, and Outdoor Code. You should also know the Scout sign,
salute, and handclasp.
