August 16 -18, 2004 our troop hosted 28
Scouts and troop leaders from La Juanta, Colorado. This group
has been performing American Indian dances starting in around 1930.
The group has been performing internationally for a long time. The
Scouts make their own costumes and alhtough some are native all
learn the authentic dances from Native Americans. They were last
in Cleveland at least 10 years ago.
A public performance was held on August 17, 2004 at 7:00 PM at
Woodbury School in Shaker Heights on South Woodland.
